Come join us at Chacewater Village Hall for a day to discuss GB Energy with our new Cornish MPs. Key contributors include The Cornwall Climate Commission, CCAN Cornwall Climate Action Network, GEL (Geothermal Energy Limited), National Grid, FLOW Floating Off-shore Wind / Celtic Seapower, Kensa, Cornwall Council, Treveth, Corserv, Local Area Energy Plan (LAEP) team, SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, Bennamann, IFEAA International Fugitive Emissions Abatement Association.
We are confident that this day will be useful to highlight Cornwall’s unique position as a lead in all areas of renewable energy and ensure integration into the plans for the rollout of GB Energy. It will be held jointly by us as the Chacewater Community Energy Group, our Roseland and Truro Community Area Partnership, with the other Community Area Partnerships. The hall can seat well over 100, and we have two smaller breakout rooms.
Moving to a smarter grid would encourage a more circular approach to electricity generation and use within Cornwall. More in line with “Doughnut Economics”
